We did it!
Reading 24 hours in one weekend is a challenge.
Props to those who read 24+ hours during the 24in48 Readathon!
My grand total: I ended up reading a mix of print and audio for 13.5 hours.
Audiobooks are a great way to get some “reading” in while doing other chores around the house!
Anyways, back to reviewing the readathon.
I started around 9 am on Saturday after I picked up donuts and coffee. During my commute, I listened to Faithful. A story about a teenager overcoming a tragic accident. We follow her through her young 20s… And that’s all I can share for now.
I went back n’ forth between the two until I started listening to I.Q.
Earmuffs! This book has some language. It’s 11 hours on audio, so I didn’t quite finish this one either.
I went to bed around 10 pm on Saturday, and was up bright and early on Sunday.
I kicked off Day 2 with some more Boxfish in bed with a donut and reheated coffee.
Then, I started on some house cleaning and listened to some more Faithful. I was making good progress until I just needed to sit on the couch and eat real food—sorry donuts!
During my break, I decided to watch an episode of Orphan Black and put my feet up for a few minutes.
After my TV break, I devoured Milk and Honey.
OMG. SO GOOD.
